Tool
in the Box
Growing
churches need to invest money in tools. Tools in the form of projection units,
computers, nursery equipment, game equipment and transportation. For the last
several years our transportation needs have grown. In the past, we've depended
upon carpooling but that has become very difficult and cost prohibitive.
So
this last month, Odessa BibleChurch bought a new tool. A tool that will provide
access to transportation we've never had. It's in the box and ready for use at
a moments notice - We now have a bus.
This
25 passenger bus will provide us dependable transportation to and from camp, Ft.
Davis, Mexico, Kileen, and who knows where else. It's ours to use to take 3rd-6th
graders to Fiddle Stick Farms. It's available for day trips to Balmorhea. It's
revved up for Disciple Now. It is comfortable in the winter and has an A/C that
blows arctic air!
Tools
are designed to be used in building something. As with all of our tools, we want
to further the Kingdom of God with it. So we want to use this tool to provide
safe and accessible transportation to events where riders can grow in their relationship
with God and others.

When
not in use, the bus is being kept in a barn graciously donated by one of our members.
