Nursing Home

Caring for the widows and widowers was an important message that Jesus spoke of often. Taking time to care for those in need was repeated and demonstrated throughout His entire ministry. For those in His day, the poor and needy were on every corner. In our day, they are often hidden behind walls and out of sight. They're receiving the care they need but they still need a bright smile, conversation and the knowledge that somebody cares.

As a church, we are going to visit a nursing home for the evening. We'll play cards, dominos and share a great time of lifting the spirits of our senior adults. You won't have to lift a finger or carry a hammer. All you'll have to do is show a needy saint the love of Christ by giving them your time.
