What a time of ministry, evangelism and discipleship we are having at the Good News Club. Now meeting two days a week on two different campuses, we are having the opportunity to meet and serve over 200 kids. What a blessing!

The goal of a Good News Club is to teach kids of all ages the truths found in scripture. By communicating Biblical truths, kids learn how much God loves them, how He wants them to be in heaven with Him and how He has made that possible. But it doesn't stop there. We want our kids who attend to learn about how being a good citizen, serving, sharing and having a purpose in their lives brings hope and a sense of community. Life change begins with heart change and we believe Jesus is the beginning of Heart Change.

Good News Club was founded by Child Evangelism Fellowship many years ago. We are working in partnership with them as this program is once again moving across the nation. Currently, there are three Good News Clubs in Odessa. Two of them are sponsored by Odessa Bible Church and another by University Baptist meeting at Blanton Elementary

What is a Good News Club (GNC)?
The GNC is made up of games, songs, memory verses, Bible stories and goodies for all boys and girls. GNCs are nondenominational and all stories are taught by trained and screened teachers. Bible stories are taught along with applications to everyday life such as obeying parents, teachers and leaders, sharing, good citizenship and behavior. When will the Good News Club be meeting?
The GNC will meet on Mondays immediately after school on the campus of Dowling Elementary School. Students desiring to attend should meet in front of the school office right after school. We will begin on Monday, October 23rd.

The GNC will meet on Tuesdays immediately after school on the campus of Ireland Elementary School. Students desiring to attend should meet in front of the school office right after school. We will begin on Monday, October 10th.
